DISCLAIMER : As I have explained in the description , I am entirely new to blogging and I owe my sincere apologies for any flaws in my writing. Critics are welcomed :) Since, being the first post , I thought of writing about a thing which I was mourning about for a long time, but these guys , Gowtham & Gowtham threw a light on me and made me to think. So I thought to write about a thing which I would cherish forever. So, sitback and enjoy.
Dedicated To My Amma , The reason for myself being here. But if she comes to know that I am wasting time by writing these things instead of studying, She will probably hang me upside down and beat in my back(dont imagine the scene Please!!). But still, She deserves to be at the first place in my heart and yeah in this blog too.
So, Let me start...
You might think that "ennada ivan !! ivanoda birth story la enna puthusa irukka poghuthu?!!
But , this is not about me, Its about those people who went through hardships at the time of my birth.
To begin with, my parents Mr. Perumal Samy & Mrs. Mahalakshmi both got married on 24th August 1990.
My mom comes from a family of Service. Her dad , my grandpa worked for the Indian National Army. And he wanted his daughters also to do serve for people and made them to enter the noble profession of being a Nurse. After marriage my mom had to travel daily to Kumuli (Theni) for work. And my Dad used to go and drop her in a cycle at the bus stand.
And during the month of May, my Mom was at the final days of her maternity period. And the doctors have predicted the time of delivery to be around 2nd week of June 1991. It was at that period, the Tamil Elam issues were at the peak in Srilanka and The eelam War II was just ended. All of a sudden on May 21, 1991, the then Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi was assassinated at Sriperumbedur . The whole nation got dumbstruck . Riots broke out and Tamilnadu was the centre of curfew since it happened here. And apparently, the President brought 144 emergency rule. All shops were closed . There were no vehicles, not even public transportation, and as usual the life of the Aam Aadmi got affected . While the entire country was puzzled about what will happen next, here in Dindigul , my Mom got the Pain. No one expected this, as there was 3 more weeks for the predicted date. To increase the pressure, my Dad wasn't at home . He had went to drop my aunt. Luckily, in those days we were like a joint family, and my grandpa and my Mom's sisters were residing in the same compound. . My Big Daddys(periyappa) Jeyaraman & Algarsamy were at home. They searched the entire town, and there was not even a single vehicle. It was heavily raining. And my Mom was dying of pain . Engeyo evano pannathuku , yaarellam kashta pada vendiyathu irukku??!!! I hate those terrorists(or activists, wat they say!!)
And that incident, that happened next, will make tears to roll down from my eyes, even when I think now!!
Having left with no choice, my periyappa pulled a hand-cart from some corner of a haunted aloof street .
They made my Mom to lie in that cart and pulled it by hand, to the Government Hospital which was about 5 kms away. If they hadn't be there , I dont know, whether U ll be reading this. And my Dad came to know abo this later and rushed to the hospital, and amma was in the operation theatre. Luckily, it was a normal delivery. My das is like "bold at thoughts and weak at heart" . Which man on earth could bear hearing his better half dying in pain. He was restless and walking here and there. And in sometime, that happened. The doctor came and wished my dad that he was blessed with a Baby Boy . Every single man on this world will yearn to hear this words "Congrats!! Ungalukku payyan/ponnu poranthurukka(n)". Having heard this, My dad would have jumped out of joy. There are no leaps and bounds for this feeling. So, There I was, Son of Mr & Mrs. Perumalsamy.
God knows the art of balancing, very well. When he calls back a Leader to him, he sends back another one down :P (Okay. Accepted . Self Boasting. And this is mean!)
I used to say even now, "amma!! naan unna romba kashta paduthutenla?!!"
My mom will reply back,"poda!! kirukku payalae!!"
And thats what we called as Mother's Love.
I dont know how I am gonna reciprocate for these.
To all those people , who went through such pain, I have only one thing to say, as of now.
"NEENGA ILLAMA NAAN ILLA!!!".
Wait! Wait! I think I have stuffed you with lots of sentiments.
So, here's a piece of thing for you to laugh about.
THE AFTERMATH OF MY BIRTH:
Since, I was a premature baby I was Underweight when i was born (Sathiyamaa!!!) my Mom used to feel about me every night and go on through a mourning spree. So , wat she did was, she fed me with lots of nutritive things like Ceralac, Pediasure such kinda stuffs!!! So, at the end of 9 months , people used to ask my mom whether I am 1.5 yrs or 2 yrs old..
Appo aarambicha growth, innum ninna paadilla!!!!
The other reason for this extraordinary awesomatic growth is my uncles and aunties. My mom ll feed me in the morning and will leave for work. After that everyone will take me to their home and feed me for their part. "naanum engeyum venaam nu solla maatenaam!!!!" kadavule!!!!
Now they tease me like "nee evlo kuduthaalum saapduva da !!!! nee romba nallavaann".
And my obsession towards music started long before. people say that, making me to sleep, or stop crying is as simple as it is. Play some music. And I am into my own world !!!
And the rest is history !!!!!
Thanks for reading......
P.S. Sorry for the length.. I couldn't write it in a crispy manner!! will try to reduce in the next post!!
